Monica da Silva - Miles from Nowhere

Brazilian/American singer/songwriter Monica da Silva has spent her life bouncing between two continents. Wherever she goes her musical muse tags along. And like a new dress or a great pair of flip flops, inspired lyrics and catchy melodies are things she picks up along the way. Beginning in childhood with the piano and the flute and always singing, Monica went on to write songs and perform with her siblings under the name Nectar. The three toured the college and bar circuit extensively, in a big, white van. Monica then set out on her own, performing and recording "Miles From Nowhere".
